During the summer of 2019, Nidhi and Rhea decided to create a program which instills a goal to educate underprivileged children and help them see a future in STEM. Throughout their lives, Nidhi and Rhea experienced first hand incidents of people with extraordinary talents miss out on the opportunity to pursue a future in STEM because they were never provided with the right resources. Thus, in August of 2019, Nidhi and Rhea created risingSTEMs. RisingSTEMs works to empower and encourage children to pursue careers in STEM by providing them with educational and fun STEM activities.
